Bruce Campbell paljasti uuden Evil Dead -elokuvan nimen

Bruce Campbell on viimeinkin kertonut vähän lisätietoa tulossa olevasta uudesta Evil Dead -elokuvasta Empirelle. Aiemmin työnimenä oli Evil Dead Now, mutta nyt nimi on vaihtunut muotoon Evil Dead Rise. Tapahtumapaikkana ei enää ole mökki keskellä metsää, vaan jotain ihan muuta. Ei kuitenkaan kannata odottaa mitään ihmeitä tapahtuvaksi ennen vuotta 2021.

"The official name is Evil Dead Rise. We're getting a new draft in. I don't think anything will happen until 2021. Full bore ahead, we're very excited about it. A whole, new ballgame. No more cabin in the woods."

Uuden elokuvan käsikirjoittaa ja ohjaa Lee Cronin. Campbellin mukaan uusi elokuva tulee olemaan aiempia leffoja "dynaamisempi".

"From this point forward, they kind of have to stand on their own. Which is fine. And liberating. You could have different heroes, different heroines in this case. This one's gonna be a little more dynamic. We jut want to keep the series current. And the mantra, really, is that our heroes and heroines are just regular people. That's what we're going to continue."
